A Story Still Being Written

John Richard King walked through a season that dismantled what felt settled—divorce, disorientation, and the heavy work of starting again. In that silence, faith was no longer theoretical. It became the only ground available.

Over time, he came to understand something unexpected: God's mercy doesn't always arrive as rescue. Sometimes it arrives as release. Sometimes the most loving thing God does is close doors we thought would always be open.

The Foundry began from inside that process. Not to explain suffering or offer easy answers, but to give language to what faithfulness sounds like when life dismantles what felt secure. To name the cost of obedience, and the grace that holds you through it.
